Client did not get the email

What to check when a client says a Raoura email never arrived.

When a client says "I never got it", the fix is usually one of three checks.

1. Ask them to check spam#

Reminder and notification emails sometimes land in spam or a promotions folder. Ask the client to search there for the message before anything else.

2. Confirm the email on the client's record#

  1. Go to Clients and open the client.
  2. Check the email address on their record. A typo here means every email misses.
  3. Fix it if needed and save. Reminders and notifications can only send to a client who has a correct email address on file.

3. Confirm email is set up on your workspace#

Emails send only when the sender has set up email. If you just started with Raoura, make sure email is configured on your workspace before expecting reminders and notifications to go out.

Every client-facing page has a link you can share directly:

  • The client's portal link is on their client page, in the Client portal card.
  • Each proposal, contract, invoice, and project has its own link too.

Copy the link and send it over whatever channel you already use with the client. The portal needs no account or password, so the link alone gets them in.
