Creative proposal
UGC creator proposal template
A complete proposal you can send after filling in the brackets. Copy the text or download the PDF, then make it yours.
Make it yours before sending
- Replace every [bracket] with the client's real details. Search for "[" to catch them all.
- Set real prices in the investment tiers, and cut to one option if tiers do not fit the job.
- Rewrite "Understanding your goals" in the client's own words from your call. It is the section they read closest.
- Delete anything that does not apply. A shorter, true proposal beats a longer, generic one.
UGC creation proposal
UGC content creation proposal prepared for [Client Company]
1. Overview
Prepared for [Client Company] by [Your Name], [Date].
Thank you for considering me to create UGC for [Brand]. This proposal covers the videos I will make, the hooks and variations that give your ad team something to test, and usage rights priced honestly, because the content and the right to run it are two different products.
2. What you are aiming for
[Brand] needs native-feeling creator content for [product] that performs in [paid social / organic] on [platforms], speaking to [audience].
You need enough hook and format variety to test properly, delivered in platform-native specs, with usage rights that match how long you actually plan to run the ads.
3. How I will work
- Phase 1, Brief and angles. You share the product, audience, and any proven angles; I add [number] hook concepts from what is working in your niche right now. We agree the shot list before filming.
- Phase 2, Filming. I film with the product in real settings with native energy: handheld, well lit, and true to how the platform actually looks. You ship the product; it is not returned.
- Phase 3, Edits and variations. Each concept is delivered with [number] hook variations and platform-native captions, sized for [9:16 / 1:1], so your media buyer can test rather than guess.
- Phase 4, Usage and iteration. Content is licensed for the agreed window. When the data shows a winner, iteration rounds on winning concepts are the fastest money you will spend.
4. Scope and deliverables
- [Number] UGC videos of [15 to 60] seconds in [9:16]
- [Number] alternative hooks per video for testing
- Platform-native captions and text overlays
- Usage rights for [organic and paid] use for [90] days from delivery
- Delivery within [7] business days of receiving the product
- [Optional] raw clips for your internal editing team
5. Outside this scope
- Posting on my own channels (creator distribution is a separate collaboration with its own rate)
- Whitelisting and Spark Ads access (available for [Amount] per month)
- Competitor exclusivity (available for [Amount] per month, category defined in writing)

8. What makes this different
- Deliverables are built for testing: hooks and variations, not one precious video
- Usage rights are explicit and priced by window, so you never discover you are running expired content
- I study what is converting in your niche before filming, not after
9. Terms
This proposal is valid for [30] days. A deposit of [amount or %] is due to begin, with the balance due [on delivery / per the schedule]. Work outside the scope above is quoted separately before it starts.
Usage rights run for the stated window from delivery and renew at [Amount] per video per period; running content after expiry requires renewal. I create content for your ads, and I do not guarantee ad performance, reach, or follower growth: targeting, offer, and budget are in your hands. Content posted to my own channels, if agreed, will carry the disclosure the law requires.
10. Getting started
To move forward, approve this proposal in writing and I will send the agreement and the deposit invoice. We can begin as soon as the deposit is received.
