Creative proposal
3D visualization proposal template
A complete proposal you can send after filling in the brackets. Copy the text or download the PDF, then make it yours.
Make it yours before sending
- Replace every [bracket] with the client's real details. Search for "[" to catch them all.
- Set real prices in the investment tiers, and cut to one option if tiers do not fit the job.
- Rewrite "Understanding your goals" in the client's own words from your call. It is the section they read closest.
- Delete anything that does not apply. A shorter, true proposal beats a longer, generic one.
3D visualization proposal
3D visualization proposal prepared for [Client Company]
1. Introduction
Prepared for [Client Company] by [Your Name], [Date].
Thank you for considering me for [Client Company]'s 3D visuals. This proposal covers turning your product into photoreal renders you control completely: any angle, any color, any environment, without reshooting anything, with approvals placed before render time gets expensive.
2. Your goals and context
[Client Company] needs [describe: ecommerce renders, hero images for a launch, lifestyle scenes, a product animation] for [product], consistent across [number] variants and colorways.
The visuals must match the physical product faithfully ([materials, finishes, proportions]) and be ready for [launch date / marketplace requirements].
3. Proposed approach
- Phase 1, Asset intake. You provide [CAD files / the physical product / detailed photos]; I build or prepare the 3D model and confirm dimensions and details against the real thing.
- Phase 2, Lookdev. I develop materials and lighting and send draft renders for approval. This is the decision point: changes here cost minutes, changes after final rendering cost render time.
- Phase 3, Final renders. Approved lookdev goes to final quality: [number] renders at [resolution] across the agreed angles, variants, and scenes.
- Phase 4, Delivery. Files arrive in [PNG with transparent backgrounds / PSD with layers / video formats], named by variant and angle, sized for every agreed platform.
4. What you will receive
- A production-ready 3D model of [product], built from your [CAD / samples]
- Lookdev drafts for approval before final rendering
- [Number] final renders at [resolution] across [angles and scenes]
- Color and material variants for [number] SKUs
- [Optional] a [length] second product animation
- Delivery in [formats], organized by SKU and angle
5. Out of scope
- Photography and photo retouching (this is CGI)
- The 3D model source files (renders are the deliverable; source files available for [Amount])
- Platform-specific 3D formats ([AR / web viewers] quoted separately)

8. Why me
- Approval happens at lookdev, where a change is a conversation, not a night of re-rendering
- Once modeled, every future angle, colorway, and campaign is incremental cost, not a new shoot
- Renders checked against the physical product, so customers get what the picture promised
9. Working terms
This proposal is valid for [30] days. A deposit of [amount or %] is due to begin, with the balance due [on delivery / per the schedule]. Work outside the scope above is quoted separately before it starts.
Final renders are yours on payment for the uses agreed; the underlying 3D model and project files remain mine unless purchased separately, and I keep them archived for future rounds. Changes requested after final rendering are billed as re-renders at [rate]. Unreleased products are covered by confidentiality, and nothing appears in my portfolio before your public launch.
10. Next steps
To move forward, approve this proposal in writing and I will send the agreement and the deposit invoice. We can begin as soon as the deposit is received.
